BURJ DUBAI-BREAKING THE RECORDS


BURJ DUBAI is the tallest free standing structure in the world which surpassed the Toronto's CN tower(553.33 metres) which was holding the record since 1976.As of 1 March 2008,the building has reached a height of 611.3 metres(2006 ft) with 160 floors.Burj Dubai's last two milestones will be to surpass the 628.8m height of the KVLY-TV Mast in North Dakota,United states to become the world's tallest structure and to pass the Warsaw radio mast in Gabin, Poland(646.4m until it collapsed in 1991) to become the world's tallest structure of any type ever built.
The official height has been kept as a secret and subject to change as there is strong competition.The total budget for Burj Dubai is $4.1 billion.
